Editing
The editing process is done after the filming. The raw footage is broken down in sections to make film make better sense. These sections could be divided through jump cuts or short cuts. Also, editing allows for sound or visual effects to be added in. This enhances the audience's senses through sound or sight. These effects will be added on imovie and sony vegas pro. These are the software we are going to use to edit our film.
Here is the raw footage being dragged into the imovie editing software. The footage is placed below and you can view the edit above.

According to our research, the title is influential in attracting the audience to the film. The title should have some relation to the film. Imovie has a title creating option which allows me to create the fonts of a title and how its inserted to the film.
There are many options including the position of the title. The main title will be placed in the middle so that its eye catching to the audience. It should also be obscure. This means that the title should be remembered for being unusual. This will creating psychological marketing as the audience distribute between themselves due to the eye catching title. The title could also be visually edited by creating a pop up or transition. Furthermore, opening titles like the cast names will be added in whilst the film is rolling. The names will be less obvious and will be placed in the lower third of the image. The font will be clear as the name of the cast has less priority.
This is our original title. As you can see, the font is big and the font style has changed to chalk like writing. This creates an effect of possible ghostly meaning. Chalk is often referred to an old era of dark chalkboards.
Here shows the timeline from imovie. I have added title and sound effects along with the film. The green bars are showing the sound effects added in. The sound effects used were ambient sounds and uncomfortable sounds to the ear. These sounds were perfectly matched with the film in area where the shot changed. This creates a sense of engagement from the audience as they want to see whats next. Often, these additions overlay each other so that the continuity of the film is kept.

In order to construct our film to make sense all of the footage was placed into imovie. I then used the split clip tool to split each different shot individually so that its made easier to understand when editing.
