Our establishing shot sets the scene of the road location of where the house was situated. Whilst taking a long shot of the house, the protagonist walked past the camera which was placed in a south east position from the front of the house.
An insert shot was taken of the telephone ringing
Script Blocking
For this task, we are directing the cinematographer for where to shoot angles according to the script.
This is some dialogue used in the film. A medium shot would be needed to show the father figure is the setting whilst showing them on the phone. This would also capture the setting of kitchen items like utensils or cookers.
Sound will be added during the editing process. Also, ambiance sounds will be in the film so that it sets the seen for the audience.
This is a short description of the start of our story line. These larger chunks have no dialogue and explain the process of whats happening in the film. (Character movement, positioning)
The cinematographer will be positioned facing the protagonist. This is because not only can the audience see the movements of the character better but the previous shot will continue as a match on action.
The camera will be switched around still sticking to the 180 degree rule. This time the director will have the father walk towards the door as the son goes up the stairs. This will show both characters during the dialogue.
In this scene the directer will be filming a tracking shot of the protagonist to show the unstable mind. Sound will also be enhanced in the editing to give the audience diagetic sound of the mental voices.

The next scene is the dialogue between the son and his unknown friend on the phone. A close up shot will be taken from the side.
A tracking shot is taken of a rotation of 180 degrees as the character walks out.
A variety of shots can be taken to show the dialogue. The first shot will be a medium shot to show both characters in shot. Then, as the dialogue unfolds, the over shoulder close ups will switch to show facial expressions.
